Massive weight and thoughts about early retirement

How the Re-Mind treatment works

The treatment is off-label. This means that an approved medicine is used for a purpose other than that for which the medicine was originally approved. All patients receive information about this and give informed consent.

You must know this before a treatment

Before a Re-Mind treatment, the patient undergoes a mandatory specialist assessment, screening blood tests and a review of the medical history. The treatment is only offered to patients who are assessed as suitable – and the effect is not guaranteed.

Side effects are generally mild and short-lived: slight redness or itching at the injection site, a short-term sensation of fever without an actual increase in temperature or a slight temporary headache, typically lasting one day.
